AP Physics I
Welcome to AP Physics 1! This course is a college level, algebra I based course that is designed to introduce you to the fundamental principles of physics and prepare you for taking this class in the future. The course covers range of topics from Kinematics and Dynamics to Rotational Motion. The primary goal of this class is to develop your understanding of core physical concepts and improve your problem-solving skills through inquiry-based learning. Our class plan includes a balanced mix of lectures, interactive demonstrations, collaborative group work, and regular assessments to track your progress. By the end of the course, you will be well-prepared for the AP Physics 1 course and possess a solid foundation in physics that will benefit you in advanced studies and various STEM fields.
Students Requirement
- A strong foundation in Algebra I.
- Regular attendance and active participation in class activities, discussions, and group work
- Homework will be assigned regularly to reinforce the concepts covered in class. Timely completion and submission of these assignments are required to keep up with the course material.
-Taking detailed class notes is essential for retaining and understanding the material covered in lectures. Notes should be organized, clear, and reviewed regularly to aid in studying and homework completion.
- A positive and proactive attitude towards learning is crucial. Students are expected to be curious, ask questions, and engage with the material. Respectful behavior towards classmates and the tutor is mandatory to maintain a conducive learning environment.
- Students are required to have their cameras on to ensure engagement and participation.
